 January 2009, North American Windpower — "The successful execution of a wind farm's financial mechanisms can be correlated to the accuracy of commercially available wind resource tools," says Jennifer Deloney in January's issue of North American Windpower. The article reviews new developments in SoDAR and LiDAR technology during 2008. Deloney writes: "For SoDAR measurement technology advancement, Somerville, Mass.-based Second Wind's Triton was a clear leader in 2008, reaching commercial operation in April and beginning a product correlation study in October with anemometers at 300 meters at the Boulder Atmospheric Observatory."
