The Nomad® 2 Wind Resource Data Logger is at the heart of Second Wind's wind resource assessment systems. Designed with Second Wind's principles of flexibility, simplicity, and economy, the Nomad 2 wind data logger offers advanced functionality and simplfied installation while reducing system costs.

• More sensor choices. Nomad 2 works with all market-leading wind sensors.
• More sensor inputs. The Nomad 2 wind data logger allows you to connect up to 12 anemometers or other frequency or state devices. Another 8 analog inputs connect directly to wind vanes, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, or humidity sensors.
• Field friendly features simplify installation and maintenance. Nomad 2 incorporates features such as a clear, bright readout even in low temperatures and high sunshine, and an easy-to-maintain shelter box design.
• Smart power management keeps you running longer.The Nomad 2 wind data logger manages transducer power and sensor excitation to get the most out of your batteries -- or will run continuously with an optional solar package.
• Communications options and tower packages offer you many different ways to access your data. The Nomad 2 wind data logger can be bundled with several different remote communications options, including SkyServe® Satellite Wind Data Service, as part of a complete wind resource assessment system (see Complete 60m Tower Systems for more information).
