Get Your Second Wind

On October 10, 2007 we held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and party to celebrate the opening of our new factory on Dane Street in Somerville. Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone was on hand to do the actual cutting. Afterwards we gave tours of the new facility, originally part of the American Tube Works Factory, which opened its doors in 1851. Second Wind has transformed the 2,000 square foot space into a workshop ideal to construct the 500 Triton units we will produce within the next year.

WINDPOWER 2007 was a terrific event for all of us involved in the wind industry. There was a record number of attendees at the show (6,000 according to AWEA) and significant media coverage that focused on the industry's rapid growth and financial promise - including placements in the Wall Street Journal online, Los Angeles Times and multiple features on CNBC, one of which referenced Second Wind and our newest product!
Colin France, Project Engineer, opens the Triton circuit board enclosure for a demonstration in the booth.
